La Bella Spa is in the area of Leeds near the station. An upmarket part of town. The spa is a basement that attracts the eye with a vivid display of artificial flowers on the staircase down.
I phoned in advance, to make sure a masseuse was free, and the response was welcoming.
When I got there, I was asked how long a session I wanted. I said an hour and was told fifty pounds. More than in previous reports, I think. Is this because it presents itself as upmarket?, or just inflation?, – but inflation is everywhere. I was asked whether I wanted to pay by cash or card. I’m old-fashioned enough to feel mildly shocked that anyone would want the name of a knocking-shop on his bank statement. So definitely cash for me.
I’m not good on ages, and I’d have said Emma was in her thirties, but what she said later when we got chatting about families suggests she’s at least forty. Anyway, she’s very nice-looking – slim, well-shaped, and with a promising smile. She led me to the room, which is standard for this kind of establishment. A massage table and an oriental print on the wall. Rather dark. Some muzak-style music, not very oriental, playing softly.

A business-like massage, not erotic. At one point she offered Tiger Balm. Not knowing much about it, I refused. Would it have been good?
After the turnover though, we got to chatting, and she asked softly "You want me to massage this?", pointing dickwards with a smile. "Definitely", I said. A hand job was £30, topless £50. I’m not a haggler, and was in the mood, so went for the topless. Having agreed on this, her massage changed style – much more titillating, with very pleasurable touches, but she made me wait before the shirt and bra came off. When they did, I was happy. She has very beautiful shapely breasts, with prominent nipples that were lovely to be close to. The hand-job was skilfully done, unrushed and very satisfying.
Afterwards, she offered a shower. The facilities were clean and pleasant.
In all, I was in the building for longer than my hour.
So – it amounted to a very expensive hand-job, and some might well call me a mug to pay so much. But as I left, Emma said ‘Do come again,’ and I think I might just be mug enough to do so.
